HOA Issues Rule Stating That Screams Of Torture Victims Must End By 10:00PM

In a controversial move, the Vegas Green Desert Homeowners Association (HOA) issued a new rule mandating that any audible screams, presumed to be from torture victims, must cease by 10:00 PM. The regulation, aimed at maintaining neighborhood tranquility, has sparked outrage among residents and human rights groups. This regulation, effective immediately, aims to ensure peace and quiet for residents during nighttime hours. “We’ve received numerous complaints about late-night screams and moans,” said HOA president John Butner. “This rule is intended to create a more serene living environment for everyone.” While some residents welcome the change, others argue it is too restrictive and may unfairly penalize those with different schedules. “It totally impedes our rights as a homeowner” said Vicky Dallens an ACLU attorney who also lives in the neighborhood. The HOA plans to review feedback and make adjustments if necessary, seeking a balance between tranquility and freedom for homeowners to participate in their favorite hobby .
